Construction Extension of Time (EOT) Claims Software
An Extension of Time (EOT) Notice is a provision in a construction contract that allows the contractor to make a formal request for an additional time to complete the project beyond the originally agreed-upon completion date.
See our Knowledge Bank for information on the process of submitting an EOT claim, and the effective management of contract extension of time.
WeBuild’s digital tools enable you to create and send your Extension of Time (EOT) notices to your clients for approval and to track responses. Start by setting your contract practical completion date and working days, then let WeBuild’s scheduler automatically update the completion date with each new approved EOT claim.
For set-up information, see our online User Guide.
Set your practical completion date
Once your project’s original practical completion date is set, new completion dates will be automatically updated in your register as EOT days are approved.
Input your working week
When setting up the extension of time tool for your project, you can select the related working days of the week as defined in your contract. This will help ensure EOT days claimed by your team are accurate.
Include all relevant EOT info
Include detailed reasons for each EOT claim including the impact on the construction program, mitigation performed and required response date. Also attach any related photos, plans and drawing mark-ups to the claim.
Claim your EOT days
Add one or more EOT days to your claim in bulk by using our date range tool. You can also claim full or half days, and exclude days that are not in your working week.
Start a discussion
Related contacts can add comments to an EOT claim when more information is required, including the use of plan mark-up tools. Contacts can reply via emails or a free account.
Electronic sign-off
Recipients of your EOT claims can easily use the approve, partly approve or reject actions and sign-off with their e-signatures.
